Enhanced Room/Space Detection
Even when used on “live” rooms or spaces in the current model only, RV RoomLink detects more rooms and spaces successfully than Revit does by default.
This is thanks to our intelligent method to temporarily “nudge” elements’ location points around within a custom tolerance until it find a room or space. This won’t actually modify element locations in your model.
Fully Support Doors & Windows
With RV RoomLink, you can use the FromRoom or ToRoom calculation points of your doors or windows to match them with rooms in any Revit links.
No time to manually enable these points in each family? Simply select “Take best guess for elements without room calculation points” in RV RoomLink. This tells the app to create these points temporarily on-the-fly and use them for room detection. Neat!
Fully Support MEP Elements
With RV RoomLink, you can select rooms from 1 or multiple Revit links and use their information to populate required parameters in your ducts, pipes, cable trays, or any MEP equipment category.
You can also review and set some useful room data sync options to ensure the best room detection result.
