Moving a Single License
A Single license can be moved from one computer to another, as long as you have the original license key. This is often necessary if you get a new computer or want to transfer the license permanently to a colleague.
Steps to move the license:
- Continue to use the license on your old machine until the switchover date
- Install the plugin on your new machine
- On switchover date, open Revit on the new machine and launch the plugin
- In the Welcome window that pops up, input the existing licence key and click “Move License”
- If the license key is correct, you will get a message confirming the move was successful
The Single license will then be attached to the new machine, and the plugin will open as usual.
