Remove Duplicated CAD Files
A disadvantage of view-specific CAD files is if you duplicate their host view, the new view will get a copy of that CAD file. If left uncheck, this can quickly increase your Revit model’s file size. Not to worry though, as with CAD Files Explorer, you can always hop on the “CAD Types” tab and see exactly how many copies of each file are in your model:

You can then delete all copies of an obsolete CAD file directly from this tab. Alternatively, use the app’s “Find Views” feature to see each file in its host view before making your decision to keep or remove it.
