Define no-fly-zones

In a typical Revit project, a No-Fly Zone above a ceiling is a reserved 3D volume in the plenum designed to prevent other trades from placing components that would interfere with structural movement or critical access.

In infrastructure and tunnel projects, a No-Fly Zone is a dynamic, 3D exclusion volume used to reserve space for operational, safety, or structural requirements. Unlike static equipment clearances, these zones often have complex, varying geometries that follow the project’s alignment.
