Toggle Live Monitoring
In Revit, “live/real-time clash detection” refers to the ability to identify spatial interferences as you model, rather than waiting for a separate, manual coordination session or an external export.
While Revit has a native Interference Check tool, it is not truly “live” because it must be manually triggered. To achieve a real-time workflow with RV ZoneMonitor:
- Define one or more no-go zones, as shown here, or
- Define one or more no-fly zones, as shown here, then
- Click the “Enable Live Monitoring” button on the ribbon
- Test moving anything inside a zone and getting the instant notification
- Click the “Disable Live Monitoring” button on the ribbon if you want it to stop
