Find All Views That Shows a CAD Files

Let’s face it. We’ve all been there before:|

• A DWG file has changed, and we need to check all Revit views & sheets that show it to ensure accuracy.
• We want to delete a CAD file but wonder if it’s still needed in any existing Revit views & sheets.

Luckily, your trial of CAD Files Explorer can take care of this! Simply select a file under the “CAD Instances” tab and click on “Find Views”. Almost instantly, the app will take you to the “Visibility Report” tab where it shows all views and sheets showing the CAD file you selected:

You can then open any of the reported views or sheets here using the “Open View” or “Open Sheet” buttons:
